Surprisingly, Gamma Blayne behaved for the rest of the evening. We held a bonfire and ate around the flickering embers as the flame crackled. Exactly opposite from me, he sat with his men. Lust-filled brown eyes met my death glares, wanting to drown him in my deep sea-green.

“My warriors require a full meal. This is insufficient for us.” Gamma Blayne groused while side-glancing at me.

“Make do with it. We eat in rations.” I snapped, my heart beat out of my chest. He had that effect on me.

“We are guests. Shouldn’t we get preferential treatment?” He challenged in a deep baritone that was calming and sexy.

I knew that he was aiming to get under my skin. He sought my attention any way that he could get it. This man was so powerful, dangerous, and unbelievably handsome. As the third-strongest werewolf in the world, the drawback of him was being cruel, ruthless, and deadly. Oh, suffocating and annoying should be added to the description.
