CHAPTER 33 - COUNTERMEASURES

VANCE’S POV

“I know that this can’t be good,” I said to Miriam, closing the door of my home office. She sat in one of my chairs in the corner of the room. I stood facing her.

“I don’t foresee any dangers for Sianna or your baby but…….there is trouble brewing for you.”

I folded my arms as she went into details. “Someone wants to wage a war for the rouge you have in your custody.”

“Who?”

“I see a woman coming with her pack.” Miriam sighed “Visions aren’t clear sometimes but be prepared for anything or are you aware of any troubles afoot.”

“There is only Hank, the rogue chief and we have him in our custody. His minions are being hunted for days now.”

Miriam had assisted with the witch who helped the rogues unlock my vault in the bunker. She took away her powers and rendered her without any magic. She was another forced victim but we found out that Hank killed her mother after she disobeyed him as a warning. Her father was kept as leverage and that was why she gave in.
