I had a pounding headache when I woke up and it wasn't subsiding no matter how many painkillers I took.
I took off all of my clothes and noticed the bruise on my arm. I frowned and then remembered how Sebastian gripped my arm last night. I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat. I know what happened between us was my fault but that does not excuse his behavior.

I wore red lipstick and loosely curled my hair letting it fall freely on my back reaching my waist. I know it's too much for a formal family dinner but I wanted to dress up for myself because lately, I have been feeling like shit. I wanted to feel confident in myself again. He was feeling guilty since he saw her crying on Doris's shoulder. He knew he was the reason behind her tears and the thought made him hate himself.
