Age 15

Beth merged into the crowd of students who were heading to their supposed classes, her backpack slung over her shoulder, as she ate out from the candy on her hand, and began advancing towards her locker. Feeling good to be at school again, after the long vacation of three months.

She had a feeling that school was going to be great.

It was the first day of her senior year. And her last year of school. Beth could feel her smile huge on her face. Because she would move out Lagos, so she could start her dream tertiary institute. She couldn't wait to get over with senior year to already. But Maths was giving her a hard time. She hoped she could get a C in the West African Examination Council, so she could get to go to her dream institution. Because Maths was giving her a hard time. Despite being taught countless of times, and having her dad get her a private Maths tutor, Beth was still so bad at it. It
