Chapter twenty-one

Beth tried brushing the tears away. But the more she did, the more they fell out. There was a continually gaping hole boring into her chest, making her feel quite numb.

Even when she had left Pete, she didn't cry as much as she was doing on the day she was going to tell Christian that she was leaving for Nigeria the following day.

It hurt Beth so much that she was going to leave Christian. She didn't want to leave him. Christian had shown her another side of love. He was crazy, he was fun to be with, there was no dull moments with him. He even made love to her on her birthday, while her grandma Patricia wasn't around. Christian had done all these, and she couldn't deny the fact that she was completely inlove with him.
