Amanda's houseAmanda can be seen on her bed with her mom sitting beside her and giving her a hug. There's an IV drip in her hand and she looks around, totally unaware of how she got here or what had actually happened. The discrepancy between what she had experienced and what she was seeing now immediately conjured up a headache.......Amanda's POV~"Mom?" I called as her hands were still wrapped around me."Yes sweetie" she responded as she broke off the hug and used her hands to caress my face. The look in her eye said it all. She was mortified. She was literally just trying to compose herself and not break down in front of me. "Where are the kids?" I asked as soon as I remembered them. Having seen something as horrific as I did, I suddenly placed a lot more value on life than I did before. I couldn't help but think about them now when I had witnessed first hand how volatile life was."They're asleep, upstairs in their room" she replied. "Pheeew!" I heaved a sigh of relief as soon
The next morning at Amanda's house, Amanda feels quite alright as she gets ready for work. She is to take the kids to school first and then head over to Xander's place for work. Her mom kinda slept in probably because of the stress she faced last night. So Amanda didn't bother waking her up and instead made breakfast for her and cleaned up the place.......Amanda's POV~"Alright, I think we're all set, right?" I asked as the kids all nodded affirmatively in response. I looked around the house and everything seemed perfect. "Hold on here kids, let me go see Grandma." I said to them as I went upstairs. I got to her room and knocked just a little, so that it wouldn't wake her up if she was still sleeping. Opening the door quietly, I walked in. She was still fast asleep. "Mom" I muttered as I sat on her bed beside her and using my hand, caressed her cheek. She seemed so peaceful and tranquil as she slept. "Sleep well, okay? Ill be back soon" I said as gave her a kiss on the forehead and
Later that day at Xander's house, Amanda can be seen chopping up some green chilli as other kitchen staff can be seen carrying out their regular duties. Some of them are frying, others are busy mincing meat and the like. So generally, the kitchen is bubbling with activity. Judging from Amanda's gaze though, it's clear that she's not even paying attention to what she's doing or what's happening at all in the kitchen, as her eyes can be seen staring into nothingness. Amanda's POV~"Twen...ive....illion, twen...ty five mill....twenty fi...." My mouth kept muttering subconsciously as my mind drifted off to what had happened earlier today at the bank. I was still trying to absorb the shock. It all made no sense from what happened last night to this shocking news today. I didn't know what to think. ".... Amanda? Amanda?" Someone called, startling me. "Ye....yes?" I answered as I turned to look at the person. It was Madame Louise. "Oh Good morning" I greeted her with a smile. I had
*** The criminal underworld *** It's night time and the elusive underworld where criminals, mobs and gangs operate begins to approach dawn as the civil world heads into it's dusk. At the front of a night strip club, the streets are swarming with monsters and drug dealers selling crack and heroine. The booming sound of the night life saturates the night air. Meanwhile, across the street, Luthur can be seen taking a little stroll on the side walk as he caresses his locket subconsciously.......Luthur's POV~Here it was again....the bustling night time. This had become my home for so long. Tonight was quite special though. For some reason, I couldn't take my mind off my wife and daughter, probably because tonight was the exact night she was born. I thought about my actions introspectively as I walked slowly along the sidewalk."Was what I did right? Would she understand me? Would she forgive me if I should return?" These questions plagued my mind. I couldn't help but think abo
Three years ago>>>>>>> Luthur can be seen waiting at a corner of a street in a black van. He and the Serpent Mafia had linked up to do a bank heist. They particularly needed his expertise since he was one hell of a driver. Little did they know that he had plans of his own.......Luthur's POV~Radio: ".....Sweet summer sunshine! Sweet summer love!....It's crazy how much I think about you, this Love's from above...I said.....""Sweet summer sunshine! Sweet summer love!......Damn, this song hits hard" I said as I sang along. I was getting a bit nervous. "Why in the world are they taking so long?" I thought as my fingers being fidgety, tapped along to the rhythm of the song. I had never really done a bank heist before though I had taken part in worse missions. I wasn't really nervous because of the heist but rather because I was about to do a heist of the money from the heist masterminds themselves. Yup, I was gonna steal the money from the thieves. Just as I was waiting for them t
Thirty three years ago>>>>>>>>>>In a huge training ground in the forest, giggles and excited screams of toddlers and little kids saturate the atmosphere as the kids run in excitement, chasing each other through the forest. It's all part of an endurance training program for the kids in order to create a team of elite combat veterans. Among the children running is a set of four kids, one of which is young Luthur. He seems to find it difficult to catch up with the others, panting heavily as he runs out of breath ............Young Luthur's POV~"Come on guys," I paused to pant, "You're too fast" I whined. I really despised hunting training. It just showed how inferior I was to the other kids. I strived everyday, trying to make it into the royal guard. Hmph, the royal guard......that was probably the most prestigious honor a member of the pack could receive...to get to be a member. The pack had rules that drove each village to pass their promising kids through rigorous training to make s
Young Luthur's POV~"Did I do all this?" I thought as I looked around at the bodies on the floor. What could have happened? Just as I was trying to wrap my head around the whole situation, I heard voices and footsteps approaching. I could see the light from multiple flame torches approaching. Before I could even think about what to do, I was surrounded again. This time by soldiers in our camp. There were about twenty of them, and most of them had torches and silver swords in their hands. Fear gripped me almost instantly, surging through my body until suddenly, I saw our trainer (the head of the training camp) walk in from behind the human barricade the soldiers had made. I was a bit relieved but my body was still trembling."Stand up straight soldier!" The trainer yelled, yanking me straight instantly as I saluted. "Where'd it go?" He asked. I didn't understand. Where did what go? "I....I... I didn't...I did...." "Speak up soldier!" He yelled, sending shivers down my spine. "I don
*** The Nether Moon Pack territory, at night*** Deep down in the heart of the forest within which the Nether Moon Pack thrives, is a river with a green hue to it. It kinda has that swampy look to it due to the green hue it has. The river is narrow and flows through the huge cavern at the heart of the forest, carrying with it's currents the dry leaves, twigs and other debris from the forest floor. Looking inside the dark cavern, one can observe the channel via which the river flows. There are different tunnels branching out in different directions within the cave but at the heart of the twilight zone of the cave, is a huge compartment where an old pale wizard with a black garment and a shriveled up staff can be seen concocting an potion in a huge cauldron releasing lots of steam and the potion boils vehemently. There are lots of red candles dimly illuminating the place and to the side, is a parrot who seems to be observing the project critically as it mocks a lot. Meanwhile,
