CHAPTER 105: FIRST CRY

MIKE'S POV 💝

I have been pleading with Gigi to wake up, but she isn't moving. Her body just lays still on the bed, her once pink lips has turned blue. Her body paled.

I feel a rain-water drop from my eyes, I am shocked. This is the first time rain-water is coming from my eyes. I take her hand in mine gently and rests my head on the space next to her.

NEXT DAY.

"Uncle!"

Just as the voice came and weight falls on me. I open my eyes and sit up right. Milan had had his arms wrapped around my neck as his legs dangles. I look around, I am still at the hospital, Gigi's hand still in mine.

When did I fall asleep? I check my watch, it's 7:16 am. It's morning already.

"Good morning, uncle!"

"Morning, Milan! How is your Mom?"

"She is fine"

"Is she alone? Why did you leave her side?"

He shake his head,"Uncle Caleb is with her"

I nod. My eyes move to Gigi. She is still not awake, her face still pale.

"Uncle, grandma came"

"Grandma?"

"Yes, she's coming here soon. She cried when she saw mom!"
