Chapter 8

I told Grace to go home, she was reluctant to leave me alone, she wanted to wait for Tom to come back before leaving,  I assured her that I will be alright, I needed some time to prepare for our night, she was convinced and left.

I ate the leftovers of pizza while watching tv around 10 p.m Tom still was not back I smiled bitterly, he has finally seen the light, he finally got tired of staying in the darkness with me, I should be happy that he is living his life for himself, for once and not living like his heart and feelings slave.

I wore the dress I bought with Grace and red stilettos with a red handbag, I did my make up, usually, I do not put on makeup but I just had to this time around, I checked myself in the mirror I smiled at the girl I see in the mirror.
