A narrow escape

Still in the middle of nowhere, the next day after school.

Lakshmi's hair was floating in air, it was still attached to her head but it looked like a heavy breeze was trying to separate her hair from her head.

Mia kept on clinging to her necklace as it felt like it would rip out if her neck any moment, she didn't want to let it go.
