"You can fly?!" I shivered from the cold sweat that broke out during my exchange with Alpha Knox and the air moving from Nyx's wings. "You have wings?!" I smiled trying to touch them. I couldn't even see them. Although they looked much more like large dragon fly wings, I had imagined angel-like wings.
"Please do not touch, Princess." He sounded annoyed as he put his hand out pointing towards the castle. "They can be ripped and it's a headache to repair."

"Princess, we're here." Nyx gently went to let me go but when my legs wobbled he picked me up again.His cottage home was in the middle of a forest, surrounded by trees and the sounds of animals and other critters that come alive at night. I woke up in bed alone. Confused. Turned on. Heartbroken."Nyx?" I covered myself in the top sheet and went downstairs. "Nyx?!"He was cooking?"Oh, good morning Princess. Walking with Oisin had been like a dream. His musk overwhelmed me. His touch created sparks that I had been missing. I paced back and forth in my room waiting for Maggie's mom to show up. I had summoned her right after I left Oisin standing alone in the ballroom."Maybe she doesn't want anyone else here, Princess, maybe we should leave or hide." Maeve made sense."Good idea.
