“This will be your room from now on.” Damon snapped me out of my stupor when he suddenly halted in front of a black door. I didn’t even notice that we’d wound through the second floor and walked passed through the glass-walled hallway.

But my brows immediately knitted together in a seamless arch of confusion at what he said.

“From now on?” I pointedly queried in disbelief. “Do you really expect that I will spend the rest of my life cooped up in this space? Are you mad?”

What now? Is he going to take me as his prisoner? Is that what am I now? Does he really think I will just let him?

Ugh! I can’t believe this man.

If only there wasn’t someone trying to assassinate me right now, I would have already fled from here but right before punching this cretin square in the face.
