Chapter 87: Trunk

[3rd POV]

Nancy’s body curled up into a fetal position inside the vehicle’s trunk. She was unconscious, but her hands were bound tightly with a rope that would definitely leave marks on her skin, and her mouth was plastered shut with duct tape.

She wasn’t bruised or been hurt physically, but she certainly will have a bludgeoning headache when she wakes up from the excessive amount of chemicals she inhaled to be in this drug-induced state.

Earlier, when her car was apprehended right near the roundabout exit, approximately a dozen men got off from the vehicle following her.

She immediately knows that they were not Damon’s men. Why else would one of them almost crash into her when she was about to leave the roundabout?

Nancy stayed in her car, locking all the doors.

She was so terrified that every part of her body was trembling. As she watched them approach her vehicle, her hands became clammy and cold, and she gripped the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles turned white and numb
