Chapter 10.2: It's already too late

Two hours later, when Jeremy entered the house as if it was his own, with Leah in his arms, and Moonlight in Leah's arms, the scene that greeted him, made him stop dead on his tracks, mouth slightly opened in shock.

"What the..."

Both father and son were yelling at each other and at a black pot that was smoking like it was a volcano. The smoke had filled the entire kitchen, triggering the fire detector that was making a deafening noise. Maybe it was because the fire detector was older than Mathew or maybe it just was unable to deal with these two idiots' bullshit, but the alarm sounded like it was dying from depression. The counter had oil dropping down it, knives, and brutally chopped vegetables everywhere and the number of pots and pans on it and in the sink was enough to make a mountain.
