CHAPTER 62

Mikayla pulled up to Cael's estate. She leaned out the window and smiled at the security guard.

"Hi, Tom" she greeted. They'd gotten to know each other quite well when she stayed with Cael.

"Hello, Mrs Wall," he greeted. "How are you today?"

"I'm fine, thank you," she answered. "How's work?" She asked.

The muscled bodyguard raised a brow to her. "Same Same," he answered.

He took her card which Cael had given her and ran it through before letting her in.

It didn't matter that he knew her and recognized her already, he would still run the card.

She beeped her horn to bid him goodbye and took off.

She entered Cael's house with her own key and went off to look for him.

She looked all over the house but he was no where to be found.

He was not in the living room or in the kitchen or in his bedroom.
