Chapter 36: Damien strikes!

Damien Yves Etienne’s POV

“What were you thinking when you decided to have an affair with Charlotte?” Father crosses his arms in confusion. The three of us—mother, father, and me are currently inside an empty room that's often used for gathering. Mother is sitting in front of me, whilst sipping a cup of tea in a gentle manner. Father on the other hand, remains focused on his son with a cold glare. I sigh, as I replied, “I didn’t really give much thought to it. The moment she suggested the topic, I immediately thought to myself that this woman is crazy… and that’s how I like it.”

Mother smiles as if she’s proud of my answer, while my father gave out a sigh; a hopeless one. “So? What exactly are you planning now that you have an affair? You can’t just stay like this forever,” father replies with a frown on his face. “I know that,” I added, “I, too, am thinking what to do next.” A problematic look appears on my face, as my eyebrows twitch. I know exactly that I have to make my move first
