Chapter 29: The struggle to be free

"Ula, what do you want to say to me?" Jade didn't want to waste any more time; she wanted to end the conversation with Ula as quickly as possible. Not knowing Ula's motives, Jade decided to probe first and adapt to the situation accordingly.

Seeing Jade's impatience, Ula also didn't prolong the conversation. She went straight to the point. Ula wanted to quickly go home to her grandmother, fearing that her grandmother might be worried about her.
