The Heat Begins

Hayden walked into the hotel with a wide smile on his face. He had a purpose, a new plan. It took him at least three days for the wound his brother gave him to heal a bit before he moved on to his plans. The new surge of energy that filled him would only be quenched by his most sought after thirst—Lola.

It wasn’t like he was remotely interested in her. Okay, maybe he was, but it was different. She was innocent when he first met her, thus the reason why he kept pressing into her was because he was caught up in his feelings and the need to know if she was still as innocent as he first saw.

She was, but now his plan has changed. Now, it was just a challenge between him and Jarrod. The battle lines haven’t been drawn between them yet, but Hayden was eager to see just how far he would push Lola before she finally fell. She intrigued him as far as he could tell, and It would be the first time he was ever converting another’s trophy to be his.
