CHAPTER 21

Luckily we were only in the shelter for about an hour before we were let out and we went straight out the front of the packhouse and we saw the smoke was practically gone and the warriors were heading back to their loved ones.

When I finally saw Jeremy he ran up and hugged me and I asked what the hell happened.

“Someone started a fire on the eastern side of the pack. We don’t know who. But we know that it started on the outside of the border.” He says.

“Who would do something like that?” I asked.

“I don’t know. Maybe rogues or something like that.” He says.

“There aren’t any rogues left since the war.” I say.

“There are still a few. But they keep a low profile.” He says.

“Why would they want to attack this pack?” I asked.

“I don’t know. But for some reason, someone did.” He says.

We were under attack and no one knew who was doing it or why they were doing it. Alpha Henry was even scratching his head. No one knew what the hell was going on or how to handle it. Apparentl
