Chapter 78

The morning sun shone warmly as usual when Jasmine opened her eyes. However, something felt different. Discomfort enveloped her stomach, making her restless. At seven months pregnant, Jasmine found it difficult to carry out her daily activities. She slowly sat up at the edge of the bed, looking out the window where the sun was already high in the sky.

Jasmine decided not to open her flower shop today. Her swollen feet forced her to rest. But as Jasmine was about to walk to the bathroom to get ready, her stomach suddenly cramped. She clutched her round belly, grimacing in pain. Leaning her body weight on the nearby wardrobe, Jasmine tried to reach for her phone. She needed to contact someone for help, and the only person that came to her mind was Seth.

"Mine," Seth answered with a worried tone as Jasmine's call connected.

"Seth, my stomach hurts," Jasmine said, grimacing in pain. The pain was getting worse.
