Kaia's POV

My view from the branch displays my target perfectly. I moved carefully to different branches and avoided making obvious noises with the leaves while my eyes focused on the boy below me. He lowered himself to the level of the bushes and with the help of his bare feet, he silently crept like a leopard searching for its prey.

His long black hair was twisted into a bun as for it to not get caught by the bushes and low branches of trees. His grey eyes scanned the area mercilessly for me and I smiled victoriously to myself; I finally got him. I stopped right above him and raised myself to my feet. There's nowhere to escape now.
