Elyana's POV

It was Christmas, but I felt gloomy, even though everyone seemed to be having fun. I was expecting to see Felicity, but he abruptly left. I tried to blend and match their energies, but I could not because they were discussing married life and how to properly raise a child.

The subjects they discussed made me feel out of place, which is why I simply listened and smiled whenever they turned their heads at me. However, I thought maybe I would learn some useful tips that I could use in the future, but the sadness inside my heart for not receiving any greetings from my best friend was something that broke me.

I was glad there were kids around at that time. Felix and Pretzel's son were there, as was Lea's youngest, who were both inside a huge crib.

When the topic went to Felix and Pretzel's upcoming wedding, I simply approached the kids but acting, I picked up the toy that went outside the crib to give it back to them.
