60: Kacey's Last Ace

I still don't know what to make of the message I received last week. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, so I didn't tell anyone about it. I guess it was a good thing that I didn't tell anyone about it cause nothing followed after the first message.

"Cath, about the script for the new volume, I'm kinda having a hard time connecting the plot of this to the last one." Janice opened up as we were having a team meeting for the new volume of one of our comics.

"Send me a copy and I'll see what I can do." I told her and she nodded. "Anyway, if we don't have any concerns, I think we're all good." And I ended the meeting with the agreement of everybody.

I went back to my desk and dropped off all my things, grabbing my wallet and phone before going to Gavin's office. We agreed to have lunch together today and because Andrea already had plans with Xander, we decided to go out for lunch.

"Hi, Cath. Going out for lunch?" Kyla asked me as I walked by her desk.

"Yeah. Have you had lunch?
