77: One Side of the Story

I woke up in bed with my phone ringing. I groaned as I rubbed my eyes and sat up from bed, reaching out to the bedside table to get my phone. I answered the call and was so shocked to hear Zab on the other side.

"You guys need to come home." She said and I sat on the bed, fully awake, detecting the urgency in her voice.

"What happened?" I asked her and she didn't need to be asked twice. She told me the reason she called me so early and I was dumbfounded at what she told me.

"Okay. We'll be home in a few hours." I said to her before ending the call. I immediately turned to Gavin's side of the bed and shook him awake.

"What is it?" He asked me sleepily, as he rubbed his eyes. I told him what Zab told me and just like my reaction, he practically jumped out of bed.

"Are you serious?" He asked me and I just nodded at him. We both immediately ran around the hotel room, gathering everything that we own and packing them into our bags as fast as we could.
