Shobek wandered to the kitchen, Kasey still making some food. He glanced at what she had decided on and almost laughed.
"What?" Kasey turned a sharp eye on Shobek, scowling at the young boy.
"Frozen tenders and fries?" Shobek smiled mockingly, "it's funny how a little kid can cook better than an adult."
Kasey scoffed, "little kid my butt." She carefully slid the pan into the oven and closed the door. She turned back and peered behind Shobek, "did you end up killing him?"
"Sadly, I refrained from doing so. He's bathing in the bathroom if you want to go check."
"No thanks." Kasey turned back to the frozen food bags she had yet to put away and slowly looked at Shobek again. "How do you have all of this modern stuff?"

The house was strangely quiet as I snuck out of my room. It had only been a couple of minutes since I heard the two men stomping away. Where they went was beyond me; I just wanted to get a drink and something sweet before returning to my new habit of being a recluse. The two men continued to bark orders to the young women that continuously threw punches at the dummy. Left, right, left left, right, and kick. Kasey's limbs were starting to protest and give in as the exhaustion sept through. Digging into her muscles as she again listened to her coaches. "Keep your knees slightly bent. Elbows in!" Apophis repeated. Kasey felt her shoulders start to droop as she came close to calling quits. They've been at it all morning. What the hell is wrong with these guys? The two figures flew for a couple of hours, the thin feminine body clutched tightly to the form of the gentlemen. Kasey's clothing did little against the cold wind. Had she known this would've happened, she wouldn't have worn some gym shorts and a tank top. The freezing cold air was leaving her shaking, clinging to the warmth she could get from Shobek. When Shobek finally opened his eyes, the faintest hint of the day was just starting to peek through the tree doorway. As expected, nothing attacked them. He quickly glanced down at the head that rested on his legs. Treating her like a cat, he dared not move. Not wanting to disturb Kasey's sleep. The small room that they decided to be their meeting place seemed to grow smaller at each minute. The plain wooden walls and wooden ground clashed with his aura of nobility. But it was convenient and there was a small chance of anyone overhearing them. And if anyone just happened to hear anything, they could kill them without an outburst. But each second in this room made Pyro itch with annoyance. Everything was plain and wooden. From the tables and chairs to the cabinet and the "couch" with a few pillows. When Shobek finally finished making his circle, he moved back towards the center to find Kasey trying to smooth out her hair curls. He was happy to see that the tight, black jeans and the white shirt fit. Though he noticed that she wasn't wearing the boots yet. "Do the boots-" Kasey yelped and swung around to fling the brush at him. Luckily for him, he was able to dodge it before it hit him smack in the face. He gave her a wide-eyed look and she slowly calmed down realizing it was him. "Do they happen to have collars with bells on them? I think I should get you one." Shobek closed the door to the inn, feeling rather confident that Kasey would be safe there. He slowly walked back up the path, walking past a few empty tents or ones where the Vendors were hiding under their table. Unsurprising. He let his wings reappear as he neared the newly arrived figure. Mammon turned to meet his eyes. He looked to be in his late thirties, his brown shoulder-length hair was tied in a messy bun behind his head. His face was covered with stubble. Shobek stopped roughly five feet away. His eyes looked over the two girls that stood to the side of Mammon. They were twins and both wore matching maid outfits. The only difference between the two was the fact that one had a small heart under her eye on the left cheek, and the other twin had the same design on the right cheek, and that one twin had their black hair had parted to the left, while the other had it parted to the right. Shobek had three total drinks before Mammon's patience finally wore down and he basically dragged Shobek out with him. Shobek, barely feeling any buzz, was not happy about this arrangement he had made. Another mistake in a pile of mistakes. But, since it was a deal, he had to follow through with it. "Where to my friend?" Mammon smiled widely, his eagerness barely contained. Shobek unenthusiastically mumbled something like 'follow me' as he walked back up the path a little way and stopped outside the Inn. He turned back at Mammon and frowned for a moment, "Please give me a moment to make sure she is alright and fill her in." Mammon nodded and turned to fix his appearance, to look as well kept as ever.
