Chapter 114 - Behind Prison Walls

Lyra Whitmore was hastily escorted into the harsh, unforgiving reality of a cold prison cell. Her expensive attire looked grotesquely out of place against the starkness of her new surroundings, a grim reminder of her drastic fall from grace.

Tears streamed down her face as the police officers retreated, leaving her alone in the cold, hard cell. Fear gnawed at her heart. She was a Whitmore, not meant for such a place. The desperation bubbling within her surged forward, and she found herself screaming, her voice echoing hauntingly around her.

"I am innocent!" she cried out, her voice reverberating off the bleak walls of her cell. Her cry was one of utter despair, a plea for understanding in a world that had turned against her.

Lyra slumped against the cold concrete floor, sobs wracking her body. Her confident facade was long gone, replaced by raw fear and despair. The once powerful woman had been reduced to a shell of her former self.
