CHAPTER 33 - IVY

“Morning Alice, everyone how is everyone?” Ivy walked into her department work floor and headed for her office. It wasn’t unusual for other staff members to look up and greet her. But after that, they’d go back to whatever they were doing. Today didn’t follow that pattern. It was like they’d gotten stuck staring and couldn’t get to the greeting part.

After a talking to Heath about how everyone would change toward her and her own fears building up. “Okay, if anyone wants to speak to me about anything, I’ll be in my office working on the budget proposal for the next year.” Ivy said to the room in general as she made her way uncomfortably to the door of her office.

Alice hurried from her workstation and followed her in. All the while, everyone in the department watched their progress to her office. “I want to talk to you before anything gets too far out of hand.”
