Chapter 34: Act of Jealousy

Siergo took his leave and I was all alone with Shawn in Siergo’s office.

“Don’t you think you were a little bit rude?” I asked.

“I like to be rude, it is fun,” he stated in a childish tone.

It is not as if I care anyway, I will ignore him just as he does to me. It seems that he was serious about teaching me though, he was reading the documents seriously and he kept explaining to me several business terms.

I need to know what exactly Gerald told him.

“What did you decide to help me?”

“It is your company, Lily. You should manage it yourself,” he clarified.

“It seems that you went against your father decision earlier though,”

He converted his look from reading the papers and documents into glaring at me.

“Why? Did you think I would listen to my father even if he was at fault?” he retorted.

“I didn’t say that…”
