Sweat poured off me as my muscles ached in that delicious way that meant I would be too sore to move later. Etna held the mitts, her fire stoked to a pleasant warmth. I stepped forward, delivering a solid punch to the middle of one mitt, and the skin on my knuckles split open. Finally. It had taken nearly an hour and a half this time.
