Chapter seventy-two

Dejected I whisked my drunken arse to the door, I didn't realize until I tried my keys and they didn't work, pounding on the door in Jade's apartment I was stuttering on my feet.

"Open up." I let out as my fist knocked on her door. She opened the door and like a pole without support, I almost fell onto her.

"What is wrong with you, fuck sake you're drunk and reek of alcohol." She was fazed enough that if she could vouch for anyone she definitely would for me, I hadn't had a snippet of drink even when she'd drink in my presence I wouldn't dare try it was my muse, and I found great pleasure in staying chaste.

"Oh fuck, I fucken saw a man, there he was, the man I liked a lot." I sounded slurry, my voice was heavy and that surely wasn't coming out of my mouth. She stared at me, mixing lime and honey in the kitchen to sober up, just hearing that I was getting too loud to wake Moon. She quickly darted for the door and slowly jammed it.
