“That was quite insane,” muttered my wolf. Ramanov wrapped his arm around me holding my waist and dragged me out of the cage.

It was the third time one of the creatures had reached out to me, and I couldn't scrabble the blocks together, it was either

“That is not possible.“ He concluded as he ran his gaze through my elbow to see whether I was injured and if there is a scratch.

“You should get that treated, once we're in the pack house.“ He said and his eyes were marred by indifference.

“I'm fine.“ I said, if not for the beautiful emerald gown I was wearing that got stained, and the little stutter, trying to gain my feet and my breath to equilibrium, I was fine.
