Lyle led Amaris back to the area where there were already set up tents for the men. He took her into one of the ones that you could stand up in. He held the flap open and she walked inside. He followed and closed the flap. With the flap closed it was so dark the they could not see except for a few cracks of light around the edge of the flaps. Lyle took out his phone and turned on the flashlight. "Sit for a minute. I need to ask you something." Amaris looked at the cot set up behind her and did as she was asked. Lyle looked like he was going to sit and then changed his mind and started pacing the small space. It looked funny since he was ducking to be able to stand up in this tent. Lyle and Amaris opened the flaps and walked into the tent. Everyone that had been with Amaris at the truck was there. They were already standing around a map table. Alexis seemed to be pointing to a large map with drawing on it. Coming closer, Amaris saw that they had drawn the different things that she had described on the map. Alexis turned and aknowledged them and then went back to what he was saying. "Amaris can you confirm from what you saw that these are the main places on the grounds." He pointed to a large section of the back area of the palace grounds. "This is where the vampire troops are stationed?" Amaris nodded "This is where the munitions are located." Alexis moved on. "While they are doing what they need to do, we need to create a plan of attack to back the two of them and be ready to get the prisoners out of here." He walked to the map and started waving over the other soldiers in the tent to follow along on the map. Anna broke free from Taji's embrace, and stormed out of the tent. When Lyle opened his eyes, he was on the floor with Amaris looking down at him. "What happened?" He said as he tried to sit up. She pushed him back down. "I gave you shield abilities, and you shot them everywhere, and then passed out." She said with a huff. "Are you okay?" Lyle looked at her half confused, half amused. "I shot shield everywhere?" Three pairs of eyes looked at Amaris confused. Taji's look changed to startled and confused. Anna moved to stand in front of him, between he and Amaris. Taji put one hand on Anna's shoulder to hold her in place. His other hand he put on his chest. "Amaris are talking about me? What is going on?" He questioned her. Amaris sat Taji down next to Anna. "Are you ready?" She asked. Taji nodded. Despite her encouragement, Anna looked on nervously. Lyle stood back and just watched. Amaris laid her hands on Taji's forearms. She closed her eyes and concentrated and wished that Taji would be able to heal people. When she opened them, Taji was still sitting there, but her was closing his eyes tightly like he was expecting it to hurt. She tapped him on his arm, and he opened one eye and looked at her. "Its alright. Try it now." Taji opened both eyes and then looked at her astonished. "That was it?" Taji looked from Amaris to Anna. Anna still clearly had a cut on her forehead. "But she is not healed." Taji said bringing his hands up to Anna's face. "No. You need to heal her. Now put your hands on her, close your eyes, and concentrate on healing her." Amaris threw up her hands. No longer whispering. "Why didn't I think of that?" Amaris leaned over and gave her a tight hug. "Thank you," Amaris said sincerely. "Ok. Let's head back and get a plan moving with Alexis." Anna's eyes widened. "You're not going to go to Lyle?" Amaris shook her head as they walked. "No. He can wait. I will take care of him in my own time." Anna stared in disbelief. Then her stare went blank and she came back to Amaris. I linked Taji. He is with Alexis now. They are at the trucks." The two girls walked back to the trucks. Everyone was standing around in a large group. It appeared that the men must be done with camp set up. Taji spotted the girls and waved them forward. The men all looked back to see who Taji was waving to, and then they parted when they saw the girls. As the girls came forward through the space that had opened up, many of the men bowed their heads to Amaris. Anna gave Amaris' hand a little squeeze and a small smile.
