Ella’s POV The two warriors waited for me standing by the car. “Ready Luna?” The one warrior asked as he opened the back door for me. It was going to take a while for me to get used to being called Luna but after tonight I would officially be the Crescent Moon pack’s Luna. “Yes. Thank you.” I said as I climbed into the back seat, and we drove off to my parent’s house. The two warriors remained quiet during the drive, and I wonder if they were always this way or if it was because I was in the vehicle with them. I welcomed the silence giving me time to fully take in my surroundings and what I was about to do. My life has completely changed in a matter of two days, and I was taking big steps towards my new future with Hunter. My father was fully aware of what was happening, but my mother has only learned of it second hand and I really should have called her yesterday and talked to her. Nothing is better than a good mother daughter talk and right now I really could use that. I wonder
Hunter’s POV It’s taking everything I have to remotely concentrate on the meeting I am now sitting in. I should have just cancelled all my meetings today and escorted Ella to her house to get her belongs and then leave immediately for the cabin. My wolf won’t rest until we have marked her as ours and I don’t know why I thought I could manage being away from her without doing so. Thankfully Beta Scott has taken the lead to the meeting updating everyone on the situation. We had already spoke before the meeting and I knew what he was discussing with the rest of the men. My mind was leading me astray as I had nothing on my mind but my beautiful mate and how I was going to make her mine tonight. Memories of Ella filled my thoughts of when we were pups and how I played along with whatever she desired. One particular scene kept repeating in my memories of us playing at my tree house. Ella would play a princess stuck in my treehouse and I would have to be the prince that saved her. I can’t
Ella’s POV “Wake up my child.” I heard someone with the most angelic voice say. Slowly I opened my eyes and tried to shade the sun from my eyes. I felt like I had been in the darkness for a long time. “Its time my child to wake.” The angelic voice spoke again. My eyes begin to focus on my surroundings and it looks so familiar, but I can’t place my finger on it. I find myself sitting on a large boulder overlooking the most majestic pond I have ever seen as small creatures that looked like fairies flutter around me collecting beautiful purple flowers that lined the edge of the pond. The scent of meadow grass fills my lungs and it smells like heaven. “There you are my child.” The angelic voice says as I turn my head and see what looks like an angel approaching me. The angelic woman was dressed in a shear white dress that flowed behind her in the light breeze. Her hair was as white as snow and her eyes reminded me of the color of the sky on a bright summer day. “Hello.” I said to the w
Caleb’s POV Standing outside my cabin door with my forehead pressed against the coldness of the big oak door as I tried to steady my breathing. I had almost lost control of my wolf as I stared into her eyes. Eyes that I had prayed to the Moon Goddess every night after I had found her would open. The girl had the most breathtaking ice blue eyes I have ever seen. I found myself unable to pull away from their gaze and I was losing myself to her. I wanted nothing more in this world but to mark her as mine but unfortunately, she doesn’t even know she is a wolf. Or is she? When I had found her, I could smell a faint scent of a wolf on her but as time went on the scent dwindled and not even a hint of a wolf remained. I wondered if the accident could have caused her to not only lose her memory but also her wolf. Wolf or no wolf I knew the minute I picked her up off the ground and held her in my arms that she was my mate and I had to save her life. Now standing here alone I stand on my own
Ella’s POV Holding on to Caleb’s wolf I felt alive as he easily weaved us through the forest. His wolf was big, and I knew he could easily carry me, but I didn’t realize how powerful his wolf was until I was on his back. When I had seen his wolf through the bedroom window it startled a memory. A memory I can’t quite put all together but a memory of myself on the back of a midnight black wolf that was slightly bigger than Caleb’s. Both wolves were black, but Caleb’s wolf had a small speck of white on his head between his eyes. When the wolf approach the window and I looked into its eyes I knew right away it was Caleb and I was not afraid but felt a whirlwind of emotions hit me and I felt lightheaded. It was like my mind brought forth knowledge of what I was and what he was and that this was my world. Although when I reached inside to try and find my wolf nothing was there. Was my wolf too weak to respond from everything that I went through in the accident? I had no answers at this tim
Ella’s POV Stepping out of the bathroom after finding Kate had fully stocked my drawers with everything from makeup to perfume, I looked into the mirror on the back of the closet door. The sexy little black dress looked amazing on me, and it fit like a glove. I was sure Caleb was going to like what he sees. My hair was pinned up exposing my neck and I went a little heavy on my makeup since the dress was making me feel sexy. I topped the look off with a pair of black stilettos that surprisingly weren’t killing my feet. Touching the corner of my lip I wiped a small smudge of the red lipstick and puckered my lips one last time before heading to the living room to meet Caleb. As I entered the living room, I felt my breath hitch as I took in Caleb. He was dressed in a pair of black slacks with a royal blue dress shirt that he had left the top four buttons undone so his muscular physic could show. Caleb had his hair slicked back away from his face and looked like he belonged on the cover
Ella’s POV The weekend ended up going by way to fast as all my time was spent getting to know Caleb. I was truly starting to fall head over heels for him in such a small period of time. I know the mate bond has something to do with the pull I feel towards him, but I also can see the kindhearted man in front of me. Friday night after the date to the Italian restaurant we needed the night with a make out session on the couch and I can still feel his strong arm wrapped around my body. The hardest part of that night was telling him goodnight and heading to my own bedroom although I found myself falling quick to sleep after the eventfully first day I had with him. Saturday Caleb told me he wasn’t quite ready to share me with the rest of his old pack, so we went for another run and curled up together in front of the fireplace that night and just talked and yes made out some more. Caleb confessed so much to me this night and I felt like I got to know the real Caleb. I couldn’t believe whe
Ella’s POV “So how formal is this celebration on Saturday?” I asked Kate as we drove to go shopping for dresses. “Well, it’s pretty formal. We only have celebrations so many times a year, so we try and go all out for them.” Kate said as she kept her eyes on the road. Somehow Kate had snuck the keys of Caleb’s black Land Rover and I wondered if she did this all the time. I could tell that Caleb had a soft spot for his little sister and he would do just about anything for her. “So how are things going between you and my brother?” Kate asks looking over at me raising her eyebrow. “Good.” I said making my answer short. I didn’t really want to give the details to Caleb’s baby sister. “That good ha?” She laughs. “No. It really is going good. I just, I don’t know. I want to take things slow. It’s hard not knowing who I am, and I wish I could get my memories back, so I knew who I was before the accident.” I tell her trying to make sense of it myself. “Sweetie I’m going to be up
