Rayne’s POV

A small group of us gathered in a meeting room that was off Reese’s office. A larger man seems to be keeping Reese calm as I kept hold of Conner’s hand until we sat down at the grand meeting table.

A beautiful dark-haired female approached me, “Hello, my name is Ella. You must be Rayne.” She said as placed her hand in front of her to shake my hand.

As soon as our hands touch, I felt a jolt of energy burst through me. Ella quickly let go of my hand and smiled at me before saying, “I can feel your magic within you. You are strong but need guidance on how to develop it.”
