Rayne’s POV

Reese held me as I cried myself to sleep for the remainder or the night. My heart ached for what I made Ethan do knowing it was causing him so much pain. Reese kept telling me that the pain would pass and Ethan would be set free from Kera’s further persuasion of him but it seems death would have been an easier punishment for him.
