Chapter 11. Keeping her secret

In the Alpha's mansion, the guards from the refugees' house promptly informed Henry about the late-night incident. They typically reported such matters to him before his father would be made aware.

"Did you inquire about her motivations for strangling the woman's neck?" Henry inquired about the head guard stationed outside their mansion. His outfit consisted of a blue shirt, black trousers, and black leather slippers.

"No, Alpha, we haven't interviewed her yet. However, do you not believe that she poses a significant threat if she were to be released from her enslavement within the palace?..."

Before the guards intervened, they had to employ the use of cold metals to separate Camila from the room and free her hand from the lady's neck, which she had tried to behead.

The head guard appeared concerned, as thus far, none of the prisoners had made any attempts to harm their fellow inmates. Camila's fingernails were deeply embedded in the lady's skin, resulting in blood being drawn.
