Chapter 21: The Dance of Echoes

"We can't fight them all," Malachi stated, his voice filled with urgency as the Echoes continued to surge toward them, their forms shifting between moments of anger, sorrow, joy, and despair.

Elysia, her eyes fixed on the shadowy entities, replied, "We don't need to fight. We need to understand. They're drawn to our certainties, our decisions. Maybe, just maybe, they're seeking closure."

Liora, her ethereal form radiating a soft glow, murmured, "They're not malevolent. They're lost, trapped between choices, seeking a reality to anchor them."

Ezra, ever the thinker, pondered aloud, "Every choice creates a ripple, a new reality. But what of choices never made? Do they create... voids? Gaps between realities?"

Isolde, her gaze darting between the approaching Echoes, stated firmly, "Theoretical discussions can wait. We need a plan, now."

Niamh, always attuned to the subtler energies of the realms, whispered, "Let's give them what they seek. Let's provide them with the closure they need."
