Bonus Chapter 8

Ria packed her bag as she walked towards the car park. Her strides are long, straight, confident, and elegant. She unlocked the car and opened the car door before her eyes caught Damien walking towards him.

Ria swallowed her saliva as she tried to put up a brave front as he walked towards her. Ria is yet disappointed again when Damien walked past her and unlocked the car next to hers.

Her curiosity overtakes her sanity and Ria blocked Damien. Damien turned to Ria, his black eyes are endless.

“What do you want?” Damien asked in his cello-like voice and Ria swallowed her saliva.

“I don’t know what you told the school authority for them to allow you to come back to school after disappearing for one year,” Ria said and Damien slipped his hands into his pockets.

“So what?” Damien asked again as Ria tried to adjust herself again.

“Where have you been in the past year Damien?” Ria asked and Damien chuckled.

“Are we that close? Why would you want to know where I’ve been?” Damien asked a sneer
