“I thought your friend was the one dropping the notes in her locker. That’s what she said this morning when I saw it.”

“Nope. He likes her, but he’s also scared of her at the same time. I don’t think he has the balls to drop it inside her locker.” Craig replied, the four of them seated on the chairs of the basketball court.

“So how are we supposed to know who has been threatening her?”

“Gaby never talks. She won’t say shit even if it means killing her on it. I remember when she first moved in, she didn’t tell anyone the reason why she wanted to move away from her other school.”

“I thought your parents moved away, and that’s why she had to move?" Silver butted in, exchanging glances with Elena.

“Yeah. They moved. But she wanted out of the school even before they did.”

“Was she being bullied, or something went wrong?” Xavier asked.

“No one ever knew. And that’s why my dad asked me to be a big brother to her. I didn’t have any problems tho. He married her mother, and she became my sister
