Chapter 12

I froze on my spot when I saw my father on the main living room. He's reading a Manila Bulletin newspaper while sitting comfortably on the single sofa.

"Dad..." I greeted him, still can't believe that he's here.

Ito ang unang beses na nakita ko siya pag karating ko galing school. He's always not around kapag dumarating ako.

He slowy turn his gaze to me when he heard him. His forehead creased that makes him more strict and intimidating kaya napakapit ako sa strap nang bag ko. He remove his eyeglasses and folded the Manila Bulletin his reading and then he check the time on his wristwatch.

"Just right on time for dinner" saad niya sa seryosong boses.

My eyes widened with that. Sasabayan niya ako kumain nang dinner? For real?

He shifted his gaze to me before he stood on his chair. Pinasadahan niya ako nang tingin and he strictly look at me on my face.

"Go upstairs and change your clothes. We will eat dinner before 7:00" utos niya.
