Zelena.
I feel warm. Not that the air is hot, it actually feels cool and calming against my skin. But on the inside, my chest, my stomach, my cheeks, they all feel wonderfully warm and cosy. I opened my eyes and sat up-right. I was in the forest, only not the forest around the pack lands. I was back in the white forest, the one from my dream. As I slowly stood up, I looked down at myself. I was wearing the same clothes, silk skirt and soft cami, only now they were a crystal white and shimmering in the light. I started to walk through the trees. My body on auto pilot, going exactly where it needed to go. The field of white flowers came into view, and as before, the figure of the beautiful woman was sat in the middle.
I walked over and sat down beside her, my eyes completely entranced by her celestial beauty. She turned to look at me and smiled sweetly. A perfectly symmetrical smile with perfectly white teeth. Her pure white eyes were daunting at first but the love she e
Zelena.I stopped spinning and opened my eyes. It was dark and I was in my old room, in my old house. Only it was different. There is a cot where my bed should be. Inside the cot is a screaming toddler. It couldn’t be more than maybe two years old. I stepped forward to gaze at the child. Pale skin, deep black hair and golden eyes. It’s me. I gasped in shock and quickly stepped back. What is this? The bedroom door flew open with a bang, a younger, strong and healthier looking Hank stood in the doorway. He was glaring across at baby me.“Shut up!” he roared,“I would have killed you ten times over by now, if it weren’t for my fucking orders” he yelled down at the baby and roughly shook the cot by the railing. Baby me reared back and screamed in fear. Hank stormed back out the door, slamming it behind him. I walked to the edge of the crib and gazed down at myself. I reached forward to touch the baby, but my hand was not my hand. It was translucent, with a soft b
Lunaya.Zelena was on the floor, unconscious. I was still holding her hand in mine, but everything else was a blur. I felt dizzy, and nauseous. What the fuck just happened? Before I could gather my thoughts and get my bearings back, I was hauled off my feet and my back was slammed hard against the wall. I could swear there will be an indent of my body in the plastering. A feral growl made the whole room shake and I was snapped back to reality. My airway was being blocked and my feet were no longer touching the ground. But that wasn’t what concerned me. What did, was my child, laying comatose on the floor. The room burst into a whirlwind of commotion. Gunner and his mother ran to the side of my daughter. Elaine, Alyse and the others all prepared to attack. The sounds of growls and yelling echoed around the room until it all mixed together in one undecipherable sound. I tried to kick off of the wall and rush to Zelena’s side, but my movements were blocked. I
Lunaya.“What is this about?” Cole asked as his eyes found mine. He stepped forward and glared at Tobias, a low growl bubbled from behind his clenched teeth.“Release her. Now!” he demanded.“I don’t take orders from you, Beta” Tobias snapped back, spitting the word ‘Beta’. Apparently Cole has upset a lot of people around here.“How do you know this she-wolf?” Gunner asked him as he pointed at me. His loud and firm voice bounced off the walls.“I took the time to speak with her. Believe it or not I take my role as Beta seriously, I'm not just going to let anyone roam around my pack” he quipped. Gunner stepped forward and pushed out his chest,“You mean MY pack” he said condescendingly.“Whatever” Cole huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.“What do you know about her?” Gunner demanded. Cole stood tall, staring
Zelena. The Luna Eclipse members were ushered away, rather reluctantly I might add. There was still a whole lot of tension in the room. A lot of things need to be said. We need to talk, that’s what Gunner said. Talk about what though? About why I passed out? Does he know somehow where I went and who I saw? Maybe I took him with me, like I can during a Drakos vision. Nah, not likely, if he knew he would surely be more excited for me. He knows how lonely I was growing up, we’ve talked about it a lot. And now I've learnt this amazing thing. I had a mother. I want to tell him. I want him to know all about Selene, about the mother I never knew I had, about her raising me. I'm so excited for him to know all of it. “Leave please” Gunner said abruptly to his parents and Tobias. What's with the attitude? “You don’t want us here for this?” Roe asked meekly, “No, we need time alone” he answered just as roughly. There was some hesitation there, especially from Ro
Zelena. Deciding to change the subject, in the hopes of gathering my thoughts, I lifted my head from his chest and peered up at him. “Are you going to tell me what happened in here?” I asked while looking right into his eyes. His Adams-apple bobbed as he swallowed, “What do you mean?” he mumbled, “I mean why was Tobias about to tear the head off of that Luna Eclipse she-wolf?” “Oh” Gunner replied. His eye twitched a little as he flew them around the room, looking at everything but me. “Gunner?” I questioned more firmly. “The moment she touched you, you hit the deck. We didn’t know what happened to you, so of course our first thought was that she did something. I didn’t know that you were with the Moon Goddess, I didn’t know it was just a coincidence. I thought she stabbed you or something. Tobias was quick to grab her, you know how fast he is. By the time I realised you were fine, just unconscious, he already had her by the thr
Zelena.I woke up in the morning to an empty bed. Gunner’s usual spot was cold, so he’s been up for a while. I pulled the blanket off my body to see I was wearing one of Gunner’s t-shirts and a lacey thong. He changed my clothes, how did I not wake up for that? I must have been more tired than I thought I was. I dragged my tired body off the bed and went into the bathroom. After I finished my business, I pulled on a pair of denim shorts and headed downstairs. I could hear talking coming from the kitchen, so I went there first. As I pushed open the door, my eyes immediately went to the large plate overflowing with crispy bacon. I rushed forward and grabbed a fistful of bacon and pushed it into my already salivating mouth.“Yeh, sure, help yourself” a voice teased from the breakfast nook. I turned around to see Gunner sitting with a smirking Nat and a red-faced Smith.“Sorry” I mumbled with bits of bacon spitting from my m
Zelena. The sky was a clear crystal blue and the bright sunlight twinkled on the top of the water. Coming to the beach was a fantastic idea. I wanted time to just relax and hang out with my friends, even if Cole was still a no show. The soft white sand felt great under my feet. I curled my toes and dug them under the sand. Smith and Nat dropped the esky and picnic basket and laid out some towels. I sat down on the edge of a towel and buried my feet into the sand. Smith stripped down to his swim shorts and Nat slid her dress down her body and let it drop at her feet. She was wearing a skimpy black string bikini that sat high up on her hips and barely covered her breasts. But hot damn does she have a banging body. Watching her I felt a little self-conscious. She is gorgeous, like a swimsuit model. Gunner stood at my side and pulled his shirt over his head before dropping it on the towel behind me. “You coming in?” he asked looking down at me, “Not yet, I want t
Lunaya.“Touch me again and it will be the last time you have hands” Cleo growled at the young redhead. We were escorted back to the tent where we were right away surrounded on all sides. We could fight our way out, but that wouldn't solve anything and where would we go once we’re out? Fighting at this point would just complicate everything.“What happened?” hissed Elaine quietly,“I don’t know” I whisper yelled back. I don’t know why we are whispering, the guards outside could all hear us anyways. Alyse came to my side and pulled me down to sit beside her on a cot. She wrapped an arm around my waist and lifted one of my hands to lay on her lap. It was a good attempt at comforting me, but had no impact. Elaine’s furious frame loomed over me as she stood in front of Alyse and I. Cleo was standing in the far corner of the tent, watching on as usual. Venus and Phoebe sat on a cot opposite us, both of them
