Chapter 73 - The Cause
Zelena.
“Where are you going? Can I come with you?” I asked Galterio, trying to make my voice as sweet and innocent as possible. But in truth, I just needed to find a way out of here and back to Tri-Moon. Galterio looked me over for a minute, studying my face closely.
“Will you behave?” he asked with a smirk. That smirk is really starting to get on my nerves.
“What exactly does ‘behaving’ entail?” I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“You don’t hurt anyone. You listen with an open mind when I talk to you about the cause. And most importantly, you don’t run” he said back, mimicking my stance with his arms crossed.
“Don’t run? So I am a prisoner?” I sneered,
“No Beauty, you are a guest. A very important and protected guest. It will be hard to protect you if you are running from me and my guards” he mused with a teasing grin.
