First time with the boys

When Louis Hayden strode into the police superintendent office, as expected, Pamela was there, with her lawyer. Two officers were there, the police chief and a woman police officer.

"Thank you for honouring our invitation, Mr Hayden," Police chief Ambrose said, standing up and stretching his hand for a handshake.

"Thank you," Louis Hayden replied. He shook hands with him and did the same to the female officer and then glancing at Pamela's lawyer, he shook hands with him.

He stretched his hand to Pamela and the latter ignored his outstretched hand and looked away. A sight that is embarrassing to Louis Hayden.

He withdrew his hand and took a seat. Pamela just lost a winning point to him. She doesn't realise that she just created an impression before everyone seated.

He had deliberately offered her his hand, as a friendly gesture. But she missed his target and he won her. They are yet to commence the discussion but he was already winning.
