Grace avoided her eyes, She thought hard about what to say. Grace knew her mother , if she didn't provide an answer she wouldn't stop asking and if she told her about Mr Black, she wouldn't support it at all. She would at the very least hate it. So Grace did what she hated doing the most, She lied.

"His aunt works in the firm, He was able to get me a job there". Grace said through gritted teeth.
