CHAPTER 58: Intruder

"You're here, Mr. Arvesso," James remarked to Orion. "Right on time. I just finished my conversation with Ms. Erin. Until next time, miss!" With that, he exited the room.

Orion's expression darkened as he watched James leave. An underlying tension in the air, a silent animosity that simmered beneath the surface. He didn't bother acknowledging the man; something about James irked him to the point of wanting to punch the Irishman. But he and Erin understood the risks, especially with James' guards present.

Erin remained stunned even after James had departed the clinic. It was as if she had been caught red-handed by her husband in a compromising situation with another man, judging by Orion's hostile gaze directed at her.
