Chapter 288 : Let them go

"So, John is adamant about this? I mean about shifting to a different city?" Sebastian asks from the other end of the call as I stay silent, lying on the bed and looking up at the ceiling.

Sebastian doesn't urge me to reply right away and waits for me to respond.

I let out a deep sigh and clear my throat.

"He's not adamant but he has a good reason. Ryan has nightmares every night. Both the kids are unable to move on from this tragedy. They need a change in environment and it'll be good for them if they move somewhere with no memory of their mother", I tell him the exact things John had told me about his decision.

I have been thinking about this matter the whole day and it kept bugging me. I couldn't do anything right. It kept ringing inside my head and I thought of calling John right away and asking him to drop this idea. But I also understand that his reasons are valid.

"And what do you feel about it?" Sebastian asks.

I don't know how I'm going to express all these things
