Chapter Ninety Four ~ In the middle of no where

All my life I thought that what stops a heart from beating is when life is taken away but even as an Author, I never imagined that someone’s confession could stop you from breathing. I stare at the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen and when he tells me he loves me, my whole world shifts, and suddenly it feels like I’m floating. All the pain I was holding onto, suddenly becomes a cloud of certainty. I feel heartbroken for having lost my mother like that but heaven gave me a second chance and gave me a beautiful mother. If not for the triggers, I would still not have known about the adoption. This is how great my parents have been and that is something I shouldn’t throw away.

This man holding me into his arms has reminded me of that, and as I look up at him a smile stretches across my face. “Thank you,” I whisper.

He looks at me with a confused look which makes me smile even more. “I love you too,” I add which takes away the panic in his eyes.

He later cooks me pasta and chicken
