Chapter 34. Apologies

Victoria immediately returned to her room, called all her subordinates, and scolded them.

She expressed her anger and frustration until some were crying and scared.

Victoria emphasized that they should not be rashly bullying openly like that. Because all corners of the office have CCTV cameras installed, she also ordered them to apologize to Nina, as required by Nathan, or they would be fired.

So, with their faces bowed in shame, they came to see Nina to apologize. At that time, Nina was in her room with Emmy, Laura, Leo and other members of Nina's team; they were just about to start the meeting when the three women arrived.

"Miss. Nina, I want to apologize for the incident the other day at the café," said one of them. Nina and the others were surprised, but certainly not Emmy, because she already knew Nathan had acted.

"Who told you to do this? Ms. Victoria, huh?" chirped Laura. The three women were silent; they just looked down, unable to raise their faces, fear mixed with shame.
