Chapter 60. Laura's Strange Behavior

Laura was still silent when Mike's voice startled her again.

"Hello Laura, are you still there? Is sister-in-law with you?"

"Hello, y-yes, yes I am," Laura replied, a little confused.

"Listen, in 7 minutes, I'll be there to pick you up; please don't tell Nina anything; if she asks, just say Mike wants to pick you up; the rest later; I'll talk to Nina, okay?"

"Okay," Laura said.

After the call with Mike ended, Laura was still stunned; the girl looked confused. She looked at Nina, who was also looking at her, but no words came out of her mouth.

"Was that Mike on the phone, Ra?" asked Nina curiously. Laura just nodded.

"Ah, it's good to have a new admirer," Nina teased, "but why are you so confused?"

"I'm just wondering, Nin. How did Mr. Mike know my number?" Laura replied, still with a confused expression. Nina laughed at her best friend's words.

"Well, it must be Nathan." Nina replied casually, "You're a Wils employee, and Nathan has all the Wils employee databases." Laura nodd
