In the private booth at the high end restaurant…

Chloe was looking at Amelia like she was trying to find some treasures on her.

“What are you looking at?” Amelia asked.

“Aren’t you going to say something? What happened?”

“Nothing happened. Wasn’t I in the same car as you?” Amelia asked. She gave her friend a cheeky smile. Clearly, she was just trying to mess with her.

“Lets us eat first and then I will tell you everything!” Amelia spoke. She was hungry and the aroma of food was tempting.

She had been surviving on instant nodules for the past few days. Her mouth could not wait to taste real food.

Although Chloe was reluctant to let the matter go, she forgot about it as soon as she had her first bite. She did not stop until all the dishes were cleared.

“Good food and beauty, that is paradise.” she commented. “Thank God I did not have to be some public figure or else, I would have died of hunger.” she said as she looked at Amelia.
