Several times, Ivy almost reached out to support him, but looking at Shawn's determined gaze, she held back her instinct.

The moment she held onto him, tears burst out uncontrollably. Almost instinctively, she hugged his waist and buried her head in his chest.

"Okay, the next time it takes half a month to stand up again," Shawn self-deprecatingly muttered from above.

Ivy lifted her head, tears glistening in her eyes, "It's already very good. How long have you been practicing?"

"As long as you've been away from me," he replied.

Ivy suddenly felt guilty, realizing that she had been neglecting him during this period. She apologized, "I'm sorry, I'll make sure to spend more time with you in the future."

Shawn raised an eyebrow. Previously, she seemed assertive, treating him as just one of her many patients. Now, seeing her feeling guilty, the long-term emptiness in his heart seemed to be filled.
